Effective Calls-to-Action Drive Brand Interaction & Marketing Efforts

Effective Calls-to-ActionYour marketing campaign is only as successful as the time and effort you put in to building it up using the wide variety of marketing tools you have at your disposal. Success also depends on your ability to lead prospective customers and patients down the sales funnel. You may be thinking that I make it sound simple. 

Well, it’s not simple, but there’s a great tool you can use: the call-to-action.

Calls-to-actions (CTAs) are like hammers. They are an essential part of every professional’s toolkit. A builder (CTAs) wouldn’t be able to complete a job without a hammer, just like a marketer wouldn’t execute a great campaign without some CTAs. Like how a hammer drives a nail into a wall, a CTA drives home the idea that your visitor needs to interact with your Brand more. Effective calls-to-action convert visitors from prospects to leads and leads to customers.

Every aspect of your marketing campaign should include some sort of CTA to lead prospects from point A to point B. You don’t want to leave them without an idea of what action you want them to take. If your prospect is confused about what the next step, there’s a good chance they could abandon ship and drop trying to interact with your Brand. 

Your Brand’s touchpoints- your blogs, landing pages, emails, social media, etc.- should all include some form of call-to-action. You need to entice readers to take further actions that ultimately result in a new sale or customer.

Say you use emails as part of your marketing campaign. There should be a few properly placed CTAs that all link to one page, whether it be to a landing page or a blog post or whatever your organization may be promoting.  From there, a CTA on a landing page could lead to a very specific action.  Your CTAs should lead prospects on a logical progression down the sales funnel with a Brand touchpoint every step of the way.  

The concept of linking from one page to another can go on-and-on, but the important takeaway is that CTAs are the link between all aspects of your marketing campaign. Without them, your campaign is just a bunch of marketing tools that aren’t building toward the same goal.
